No. 11

SSSSigh. Firstly, the 's' key on my keyboard is being a dirty little bitch, so if I omit a few 's's throughout this post, it's not just because I have a lisp, it's that my computer does too.

Secondly, I rediscovered pizza pocketss today.

I should really just end this post here because pizza pockets are all that are important in life anymore anyway. I keep calling them 'pizza pops' though, which is kind of embarassing. I feel like a geriatric.

So I came to the conclusion that the easiest way to set up a blog portion of my still-being-constructed-website-due-to-my-own-lack-of-organization is to just keep on trucking with this one and just link it from my site. Which means I think less work for my brother, who's building my website, but I don't actually know if it's less work or not because I am technologically-retarded these days.

Anyway, let's just pretend I never tried to ditch this homey, cozy blog and set up camp elsewhere. HERE WE ARE TO STAY. I guess. Unless my brother figures out some nifty way to make one that's included in my site. This is all so irrelevant. This blog was meant for arting!

So arting I will.

Pretty sure I broke my tailbone. By the way. Just fyi.

Okay okay okayokayokayokaoykaokoakyokay so what is new. Um. I am in my second semester of arty school. It's going alright. Mostly I want to kill everyone while I'm there, but then I leave and come home and realize I had a fun day being forced to make stuff. It's kind of shitty because my painting teacher seems to only critique us on our work based on her likes, and not on how we're progressing within our own respective styles. I'm finding myself painting super messy and loosely, which I guess is a good thing because I need to loosen up and paint bigger anyway, but I just feel all super scattered in terms of my "artistic goals" and what I even like, aesthetically, anymore. Mostly I'm just so busy all the time that I don't have time to think about what kind of stuff I want to paint for myself, and not for class.
Oh well. There'll be time for that in the summer. You know, when I'll still be working 7 days a week. I really shouldn't complain.

My ass is straight up broken.

Okay I guess I'll post stuff. Errrr.
These are paintings and sketchbookings from the last like four months I guess. Oh I'm gonna include stuff from the art show I had in the summer, which I never ended up posting about, but was fucking awesome and such a wonderful time.

These guys are both me.

Snot done yet.

This is a triptych. You can tell because of the three separate canvases. Yup. It's for this dude Mike from this band Today I Caught The Plague. Fuck my life they are good. See them if they're playing anywhere near you.

This was for class last semester. I don't like it. Stoked that they give us dead animals to paint though. Even if they're not real. Oh, now that I mention it, should anyone want to send me taxidermy, you know, if you just have some kicking around, I will gladly accept. Antlers of any sort count.

This was for class last semester too, and I can't quite remember what the assignment was, except that my teacher didn't like it.

Drarrin at wark.

Mrs Claus waitin up for Santa. Who is late.

Hai.

Apparently the word 'obey' is really overused in the art world. But I'm really out of step with anything modern so I don't care because I love Rosewood too much to erase it. Also I used like 6B or something. That shit's never coming off.

I don't know quite what's going on here but I would guess that the rabbit is an old beggar man rabbit who is about to steal some food or coin money from someone but this here guard dog's keeping watch.

THIS FUCKING THING IS TAKING FOREVER. I have to upload everything like two at a time because it can't handle my drawings. I hatechooooo blogspot.

Know that it's taking me like an hour to get this fucking entry posted.

Totally normal body.

Cobraish goose. Had some trouble with the neck tharr.

Elefanttt.

He's walkin le plank.
A fine example of why you spray your work with fix. Never got around to finishing this and then it got all uggo. It's supposed to be Julie Christmas, who I pretty much listen to exclusively while painting these days, with few exeptions.

Okay there are more, but I can't take my steadily failing keyboard, tailbone and ability to not fetch the pizza popckets.

FAIR THEE WELL for now. I guess I'll be returning.
